The Macro Group Flood Appeal
After the recent and devastating weather events in Queensland and New South Wales, our thoughts are with the many clients, family, and friends that have been catastrophically affected.
The Macro Group has also been impacted first-hand with our building’s basement flooding. As a result, we have experienced a loss of power, access to lifts, access to our local servers, and a total loss of all essential services. This has rendered our office unfit for entry or work for the next 3-6 weeks until the water is drained, and extensive repairs are carried out.
As challenging as this has been, we would like to recognise the many communities in Southeast Queensland and New South Wales that have faced far greater devastation and loss as a result of unprecedented floods.
Amidst the tragedy, we have been working behind the scenes to find a way we can band together to support people in need after losing their homes, business, and communities.
As a result, we have organised Macro’s 2022 Flood Appeal for the Australian Red Cross, where we will be fundraising and donating directly to a reputable organisation who can best allocate funding and resources to those who need it most.

We are very appreciative of everyone’s support and understanding as we have navigated this unexpected challenge and worked hard to transition our team to a temporary office space in the Brisbane CBD.
In the meantime, our team will operate a hybrid working schedule – both working from home, and in the temporary office space – until our West End office is operational and safe to enter again.
Meetings rooms are available at our temporary office for client meetings, and instructions will be provided if you have booked a meeting. Unfortunately, we have limited parking due to the flooding. Our team will continue to visit you at your premises where possible.
